I want a snowfall kind of love

Our summer schedule is in full swing and, stacked with wedding season, it already has me craving a quiet, slower pace. I know that’s not in the cards for now, and I’m confident I’ll be singing a different tune when winter returns, but putting together this post reminded me of what quiet and cozy really feels like. Maybe that’s you today, too? Come on in.
Looking at these images, you’d never believe that this entire affair was planned in just two months! I asked Sara about their short engagement when I first arrived and she said, “Once we made the decision to get married, we figured why wait?” On top of that, Sara and Evangelos were living in Germany and planning from afar (big high five to Sara Reynolds who spearheaded a shortened planning process with style!). Everyone got ready at their family home on the shore before the ceremony and reception at The Tidewater Inn. With an early December date (and an unusually warm day, no one complained), they leaned into the feel of the season with evergreen, neutral plaid, and cozy candelight.
My favorite part of this particular day is my favorite part of everyday: being with family. With four sisters for bridesmaids (peep that gorgeous gene pool, ya’ll), Evangelos’s brother as best man, and family from around the world filling the dance floor, it was one incredible, epic night! Many thanks to the vendor team who brought their time and talents to this special day:
