I'm a photographer for fun-loving brides and grooms who crave open skies, pretty pastures, country creeks, and tall, swishy grass. My couples are easy going, joyful, and delight in each other every day. Weddings aren't just the marriage of two people, but the start of a new family and for me, family is everything. My favorite weddings combine beautiful scenery with deep-rooted family traditions and love.
This man stashed away bits of his paycheck for months to buy me my first "real" camera and he hasn't stopped cheering me on since. While we're not a traditional husband and wife team (you won't ever see him on a wedding day!), I couldn't run this business without his enduring love, patience, support, and coffee reheats. Oh, and he makes the cutest babies!
So much of the Why behind this business starts with her. I left my full-time job at an engineering company to spend more time with her. My photography business was so young at the time and she's my constant reminder of what really matters in this life. She's smart, creative, funny, sensitive, loves ice cream, ballet, trampolines, horses, and her blankie affectionately named "yellow gigs."
Everly Rowe, my second girl who filled a void we didn't know we had. She's named for Shab Row + Everedy Square in Frederick, MD where Justin and I spent so many of our dating days. She is sweet, intense, incredibly loud, and would never want "alone time" in a million years. A sprinkles aficionado, she keeps going despite a total lack of sleep. She wears us out and we're so grateful she's ours.
This includes multiple hugs, crying at some point during your wedding, and loving you well.
I'll tell your story without becoming too much a part of it. I'll let you be you.
How we live our days is how we live our lives. Little things are the big things.
There is no fear in love. We love because He first loved us.
