Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum Wedding | Preston + Will

Preston and Will left New York City behind for an incredible Eastern Shore weekend to celebrate their marriage in St. Michaels, MD! With a welcome party at The Crab Claw and The Galley, they kicked off their Maryland wedding weekend the only way you can – a crab feed with pitchers of ice cold beer and platters of fried chicken passed from table to table. Their entire day was dotted with pops of green and little four leaf clovers, a gentle reminder of how lucky they felt to have found one another and to have all their family and friends in one place. Their reception at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum was totally whimsical and charming, with a sailcloth tent and a custom pennant with their now-shared last name billowing in the breeze. And that bright yellow vintage SUV to take them through town after rushing out of the church? Is there any other way to arrive to your wedding reception?

I absolutely loved working with these two and their incredible families – I felt so welcomed the moment I walked in the door (I am now addicted to being cheered for upon entering a bridal suite and I’ll accept nothing less). It was a hot-hot-hot wedding weekend, but these two showed their guests the absolute best of the Eastern Shore all weekend long, from icy orange crushes shared at a waterfront cocktail hour to a water-taxi send off to Foxy’s, I wish I could photograph this day again and again and again.
