I had my first wedding of the year this past weekend, a windy and love-filled day at Blue Valley Vineyard in Delaplane, VA, and it was such a nice way to break into the 2025 season. It’s been a bonkers-busy week chatting with 2026 brides, scheduling spring engagement sessions, and booking hotels for weddings on the shore. I still have more to share from 2024, including this lush and romantic day at Walker’s Overlook in Frederick, MD for Haley and Chad. Walker’s was looking especially fine for this October affair, and the golden hour light in the front of the house really can’t be beat.
