I am beyond excited to finally share this colorful, funky, vibrant, joy-filled Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum wedding with you! In case you missed it, Allison +Ed’s St. Michaels wedding was featured in the glossy pages of Baltimore Weddings latest issue so be sure to snag yourself a copy if you’re like me and get a little thrill out of hard copies instead of reading off a screen.
I have been bursting at the seams to send this beauty out into the world – not only because it was one of the coolest, most colorful, truly different wedding designs I’ve seen in a long time, but because Allison + Ed were the resounding heartbeat of an emotional, fully-loaded, super-fun celebration. Guests arrived in vibrant colors and patterns and you’d be hard-pressed to find a woman without impressive footwear (it was, after all, a “statement shoe wedding,” branded by the bride herself). These two adore their people and they threw a party to show it!
Going forward, I think all weddings should have flower clouds floating above the dance floor, a reception that goes straight into dancing before dinner, and the shimmer of disco balls sprinkled throughout. Brides – don’t be afraid to be different! Look how incredible this day turned out, thanks to the best vendors I know:
