I met Margarette and Kevin at Greenbrier State Park in Boonsboro, MD for their engagement session last week but there’s a little more to it. Now because I love a good story and I know you do, too, I’ll tell you what happened. We rescheduled once because their first date was smack in the middle of that crazy heat wave where it was 105° and, since none of us wanted our faces to melt off, we rescheduled. We were also supposed to shoot at the beach at Cunningham Falls a few days ago, but the night before I doomscrolling and a news article popped up – Teenager Attacked by Beaver at Cunningham Falls Beach. I swiped up and then thought…wait a second.
So I send to send the email I never thought I’d have to – there’s a rabid beaver at your location and we need to find a new one.

But now that I’ve told you that story, I can tell you the real reason we’re here and that’s to celebrate this incredible couple! Margarette and Kevin met at a campus ministry event during their time at the University of Maryland and, dipping a toe into the water, started off as friends. But you can’t stop the freight train that is True Love, and after a while these two made it official! They’re getting married this fall at Glen Ellen Farm in Ijamsville. One of my favorite venues! I can’t wait!
