Amanda and Grant were married at Walker’s Overlook in Frederick, Maryland on a breezy late-spring afternoon in May. Light blue and black tie, private vows in front of the manor house, and a family tractor they drove right down Route 194 to have as the ceremony backdrop. This day felt so personal and so special, Amanda and Grant were so intentional throughout the day. They maximized their time with their guests and I watched them make each person feel seen and welcomed throughout the day.

Before the big ceremony, Amanda and Grant slipped away to share their vows privately in front of the Walker’s Overlook manor house. Just the two of them, the breeze, and words that were meant only for each other (and also me because I’m a professional third wheel).

Grant’s family has had a 1957 tractor since, well, 1957, and it made its wedding debut on the back lawn reception space. She cleaned up reeeeeeal nice, and it was so sweet to shoot their sunset photos with it!

And because these two are all about giving the people what they want, they doubled down on dessert (my kind of people) with a cookie table and the Antietam Dairy truck. Scoops at sunset! Let’s make this a thing at every wedding!
