Regan and Ian came to Rose Hill Manor Park in Frederick, Maryland for their engagement session on the sunniest, most golden afternoon and I could *not* have asked for a better time. I actually kind of love it when couples tell me right out of the gate that they aren’t photogenic, or they think they’ll be awkward in front of the camera – because I know that’s absolutely not true and they just need a few minutes to realize know what I already know. 😉 They’re gorgeous! Playful! Fun! Melting into each other!
And the story of how they met? Regan spotted Ian at college in Pennsylvania wearing a Maryland flag shirt, their friends connected the dots, and it turned out they were both from Carroll County and had been practically neighbors at home without ever crossing paths. *cue up Florida-Georgia Line + Bebe Rexha* if it’s meant to beeeeeee, it’ll beeeee…..
These two are getting married at Dulany’s Overlook in Frederick, Maryland next fall, and I am already so excited. Dulany’s Overlook is one of my absolute favorite venues in the area and if this session is any preview of wedding day energy, it is going to be incredible. I have had the joy of photographing several weddings at Dulany’s Overlook and it never gets old.
If you are newly engaged and looking for a Frederick, Maryland engagement photographer, I would love to hear from you. Check my availability here!
