I cannot believe it’s taken me nearly 14 years as wedding photographer to photograph what was, quite literally, a big, fat, Greek wedding. That ends TODAY. Technically, it ended on October 18 when Kate and Chris got married in a Greek Orthodox ceremony, followed by dinner and dancing at Manor Country Club in Rockville, but here we are! Sharing it together! Opa!
What an absolute joy to be present for this beautiful day. Kate and Chris were such a treat to photograph during their engagement session last winter, and I loved the “stages of life” people I got to meet all day long. Her “bridesmoms,” AKA her Mom’s lifelong best friends who all cried, hugged, and laughed together all day long. What seemed like the entire Loyola soccer team, squeezing each other and wiping away happy tears when Kate came up the aisle. And the next happy season of life – Chris, whose first text message to Kate was printed on a cocktail napkin for their signature drink.
