I have the sweetest, most intentional wedding at a Frederick favorite venue, Dulany’s Overlook, to share with you today so buckle up! I am currently feeling like the luckiest photographer alive to be in the thick of busy season during this random but totally welcomed week of fall temps – evenings in the 50s? In August? Isn’t the Lord kind that we aren’t sweating down our Spanx while shooting bridal parties? Amen.

I knew five minutes into our first meeting that Samie and Patrick were the couple for me – hilarious, thoughtful, planning a day with their guests in mind (hello, they made personalized friendship bracelets for every single guest and their vendors) and their love story at the forefront. Their engagement session in Harpers Ferry was one of my all-time favorites and I learned, in-person, that in addition to being very kind, they are both very tall and I asked a lot of my camera arms on this gorgeous day. 🙂
