I made it to the other side of the May/June Wedding Stretch – this is different than the 7th Inning Stretch in that I worked my absolute tail off but similar in that I ate a lot of snack foods and the occasional hot dog. I have so many incredible weddings, engagements, and welcome parties to share, it’s some of my very best work that I’m so proud of, not just because of the pictures but because of the people in them. Sappiness! It’s not my thing! But it’s always my prayer that the Lord connects me with people who are looking for what I do, how I do it, and He always does.

Amanda and Grant got engaged at the base of the C&O Canal Footbridge in Harpers Ferry, WV in the winter, with a snow-capped Potomac River and mittens that had to be taken off to get the ring on. So we just had to head back to the very same spot, this time in summer to celebrate their engagement without shivering. I had the best time with these two – and they’re not only a gorgeous couple but a kind one, too – no one said anything about my wheezing while hiking up all those steps!
