Despite needing three layers plus winter boots at the softball fields last night, I am presenting this beautiful session today as hard evidence that spring really is here! My endless sneezing is also a pretty good indicator that pollen abounds, and I’d like to thank the makers of Zyrtec and whatever likely-expired brand of antihistamine eye drops I keep in the pocket of my bag for sponsoring this post.
Charlotte and Ryan wanted to cash in on peak blooms in Washington, D.C. for their engagement session, so we outsmarted the cherry blossom crowds by taking ourselves to Georgetown. Residents of Georgetown, your landscaping is impeccable and I love you for it. And wouldn’t you believe our luck, our session just so happened to land on a rare 75 and sunny March weekend and it was a treat. I loved getting to know these two!
If this engagement session was any indicator of the wedding day to come, I absolutely cannot wait. We laughed the whole time, never found a bad spot, and no one judged my double trip to Levain in three hours.
I can’t wait to celebrate with them next year at Springfield Manor!
