I am beyond thrilled to share Maddie + Marcus’s autumn wedding at Musket Ridge Golf Club with you! It was electric blue skies and vibrant fall colors all weekend long – and I’m so glad because these two deserve all the sunshine and more.
Ya’ll already know I love police officers (so much I married one!), so clearly Maddie has fantastic taste. She had the absolutely correct thought to move out of the DC area sooner than later – she’s done with parking tickets and politics – when her roommate mentioned she knew a guy in the academy Maddie might like. Why not?! She’s on the way out anyway! Only now she’s locked in for life because that guy turned out to be Marcus and they are now celebrating their two week wedding anniversary. Love! It finds a way!
We celebrated BIG all weekend long with a beautiful full mass on Saturday afternoon, followed by a private four-course meal at Antrim 1844 Saturday evening, and an all-the-bells-and-whistles party at Musket Ridge on Sunday. I think making an entire weekend out of it is the way to go – more time for your guests, more time for each other, less of a time crunch, and more photos!
Fun Fact: I photographed Maddie’s sister Meg’s wedding in Gettysburg, I wanna saaaay seven years ago? (Meg? Is that right?) and I am so grateful they keep looping me back in. *lower lip tremble*
The sweetest congrats to Maddie + Marcus, thank you for having me!
