As is my custom each October, everything is nuts. The epic pile-on of softball and baseball, engagement sessions, wedding weekends, homeschooling, co-op, and keeping four children alive (the amount of food consumed in this house would shock you to your very core) catches me off guard every year. Justin and I pass each other coming and going with a frazzled, “Was it this busy last year!? It doesn’t feel like it!”
Narrator: Yes, it was just as busy last year.
Despite the Royal Rumble™️ that is our current calendar, I feel immensely grateful to do this work. It is the best kind of tired because it comes with joy, satisfaction, creative fulfillment, and so much fun. I’ve got a ton of new work and incredible people for you to meet, so let’s get on with it. This was my first time at The Tannery Barn in Taneytown, MD which was very overdue as we drove past it every Sunday en route to church for two years. It was every bit as rustically charming and sweet as I imagined, and the 15-minute commute home wasn’t too bad, either. Who else is getting married here!? Call me. *wink*
Thank you to Amanda Summers for having me join you on this one!
Getting married in 2025? I have a few dates left but they’re flying off the shelves, get in touch!
